ECS Awarded Prime Contract on DARPA TASS $850 Million, Multi-Year IDIQ Contract

Company tapped to provide technical and analytical support for DoD research and technology

FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ECS, a leader in advanced technology, science, and engineering solutions has been named one of seven prime contractors on an $850 million, five-year contract to provide technical, financial, administrative and business support services to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). The DARPA Technical and Analytical Support Services (TASS) multiple-award, indefinite delivery/indefinite quality (IDIQ) contract covers a broad range of high-level advisory and assistance services, from the development of strategic and technical plans to research and risk assessment for new technologies.

As an agency of the US Department of Defense (DoD), DARPA’s mission is to develop breakthrough technologies for national security by working with innovators inside and outside of the federal government. ECS is a respected partner in all six of the DARPA technical offices, with prime contracts in DARPA’s Tactical Technology Office (TTO), Defense Science Office (DSO), Strategic Technology Office (STO), Microsystems Technology Office (MTO), and Contracts Management Office (CMO).
